Board of Directors History

The national board of directors was established with the foundation of the active chapter of Beta Delta Mu.  The national organization was chartered at that time, and an interim board of directions was established to serve as an advisory council until the national bylaws were established and elections could be held.

Founding advisory council members:  Julie Heinrich; Charity Doyle; Sharon Chontos; Tammy Klein; Kristen John; Kylie Johnson; and Caitlin Lardner.

The first national board of directors was installed following the first national director election in February 2023.  Julie Heinrich, Charity Doyle, and Tammy Klein were elected as directors.  The directors then appointed board officers with Julie Heinrich serving as the first board president; Charity Doyle serving as the vice-president; and Tammy Klein serving as secretary.

The board of directors expanded through a national vote in March 2024 with Sharon Chontos, Jenna Welbig, and Michelle Vondenkamp elected as directors, each serving a two-year term.
