Eligibility Requirements
Female student enrolled full-time in STEM degree program
Minimum GPA requirements
Completed at least one semester at your university
Good academic standing with university
Recruitment Timeline
Candidacy Timelines: Recruitment during fall semester; Membership Education and Initiation Spring Semester
Bidding: Membership Candidates receive offers to become Potential New Members through the bidding process, with bids offered late fall semester, bid acceptance early spring semester.
New Member Education
Weekly education sessions covering organizational history, values, and expectations
Mentorship from active member (Big Sister program)
Professional development workshops and skill-building activities
Community service project with new member class
Culminates in initiation ceremony and full membership status
What to Expect as a Member
Typical Semester Schedule
Weekly Chapter Meetings: General business, announcements, guest speakers (1.5 hours)
Professional Development Events: Workshops, career panels, mentoring
Service Projects: Community service projects each semester
